Deer Creek is a quiet neighborhood tucked away in a beautiful area on the east side of Ankeny. Close to grocery stores, shopping, and I-35 for quick commute times. Heritage Park is nearby and in 2018-2019 City of Ankeny is building a playground for a 6.5 park they have set aside. Deer Creek gets its name from the natural spring creek that runs through the heart of the community. The natural variety in the landscape defines the shape of our community surrounded by pillowing trees, creating a 1 mile greenbelt.
